Great Location: For 2012, the Expo will again take advantage of the city’s premier sporting-themed venue, the Milwaukee County Sports Complex, conveniently located on Ryan Road in Franklin, WI. The complex ‘sports’ over 55,000 square feet of exhibit space and room for loads of tech sessions, clinics, workshops, and all the best & latest gear — we are very excited to again fill this terrific venue with over 150 exhibitors!

More Activities: In addition to last years’ activities — including VO₂ Max testing, 8-Person Team Time Trials, Bicycle Fittings, and our feature event, the Great Lakes Expo Run — we’ve expanded the number and type of both participant activities and informational sessions for 2012.

Note that 2012 also marks the return of the Run Around Wisconsin [Treadmill Run].

We’ll have great sessions:

Performance Running Outfitters Main Stage — Tech-Talks: 45 minutes, 10 sessions total, on-the-hour daily beginning at 11:00am. These sessions feature expert athletes speaking about their areas of specialty. We are working hard to bring you a lineup of unique and amazing speakers.

Tech Sessions: 45-60 minutes, 10 sessions total, covering the full scope of the swimming, running, and biking disciplines.

And we’ll have lots of great other stuff:

Giveaways – First 400/200: Be one of the first 400 people through the doors on Saturday, January 28th or first 200 on Sunday, January 29th and get either a water bottle or Sock Guy socks from RACC and a gift. And the first 4,000 attendees will receive an Expo program that has valuable discounts and coupons in it.

We went today (Saturday) and had a great time. The event was affordable, well advertised (even my non-athletic friends had heard about it via TV coverage), in a nice venue, well organized, and had great exhibits with friendly staff promoting quality products and providing useful information. And, best of all, it jazzed us up for another great season of biking, running, tri-ing, and other fun. It not only met my expectations — it exceeded them!

Just wanted to send a note to say thank you for putting on such a great event and for fighting for such a great cause. I was blessed to become a proud father a couple of days after the InStep run and I couldn’t imagine what the parents of children who are stricken with cancer must go through.
